Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Last updated 27 June 2026
The Biblical Leadership Institute (“BLI”, “we”, “us”), founded by John Manoah, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through biblicalleadershipinstitute.org, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the “Book Me” or contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, church or organization, the type and format of engagement, a preferred date, and the message you write. You provide this voluntarily so that we can respond to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This may include pages viewed, time on site, approximate location (derived from IP, which we anonymize), and device and browser type. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. We use them only for analytics, and only after you accept. You can decline at any time using the cookie banner, and you can clear existing cookies through your browser settings. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you choose to play them; these are governed by Google’s policies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange speaking, teaching, interview, podcast, or counselling engagements.
- To communicate with you about your request.
- To understand and improve how the website is used (analytics, with consent).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Legal basis (for visitors in the EEA and UK)
- Consent — for analytics cookies and any optional communications.
- Legitimate interests and pre-contract steps — to respond to and act on the enquiries you send us.
Service providers we use
We share information only with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- HubSpot — stores and manages form submissions and contact records. See HubSpot’s privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — website analytics. See Google’s privacy policy.
- YouTube (Google) — hosts the videos embedded on the site.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and Canada’s PIPEDA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email john.manoah@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
